Corinne Taylor is the pen name for Lisa Corinne Taylor Keuhlen. Deliverance from Evil ​is her second historical novel. Raised in Maryland, her family's roots in Washington D.C. go back 6 generations. She presently lives in Colorado with her husband of 33 years. She has 4 grown sons, 3 daughters-in-love, and 2 grandsons. ​

"What an interesting endeavor it was to delve into the early 20th century and discover my own family history. As I was perusing Washington newspapers, I found my grandfather's photo as a young student on the front page. Also, articles regarding my great-great uncle's involvement with the army medical corp. Many advertisements were placed by two great-grandfathers, one in the dairy business and another in the music business. I also came upon a few articles about a 4th cousin--10-times removed--who was on trial for murder resulting from a bar fight. Tempting as it was to look for more, I was only briefly side-tracked from my pursuit of information about the Schneider family and the true events portrayed in this novel."  ​​
