So what do you think? ...Am I right to label this a historical romance novel, or not? My choices are constrained by publishing requirements and SEO options. If not a historical romance novel, it is historical fiction and that's the label I assigned both books in the publisher's catalog. I refer to it as fiction rather than biography because this allows for some creative license and the introduction of fictional or composite characters.

So what do you think? ...There are several themes that can be drawn from both books. In Deliverance from Evil, the foremost in my mind is "Behind every tragedy is a hidden reality of Love."

So what do you think? ...Is the main antaganist in Deliverance from Evil a sociopath? What motivates him? Why does he seem so antagonized by the phases of the moon?

So what do you think? ...Is Florence really as shallow as she seems? Or is she merely immature, living a protected life?

So what do you think? ...Would you like to have lived in this time period, in this city, within this social circle?

So what do you think? ...What are the social and personal advantages and constraints for a young woman in this upper class society?

There have been so many conversations over the past couple of years. It's been a lot of fun. Thank you to all my friends and family for encouraging me along the way. The reviews are coming in, and I am amazed at the responses...

The two most common responses I've received are "I couldn't put it down!" and "When is the sequel coming out?".

"Beautifully written with the language of the time period, but without the difficulty of understanding. Florence captures your heart right away with her innocence. Then, you see her photo and fall deeply in love. It is a fun read because of the ease of feeling the scenarios. It’s like watching life as you’ve lived it, except more captivating! I have met girls like Virginia. They flirt with your companion but say they’re your best friends. Florence reacts to the flirting in a way we all should. I learned a lesson while reading. Corinne Taylor does a wonderful job of telling a story, which began as diary entries. You know you are privileged to know a great author when the first published book leaves you with an enhanced outlook on life. Thanks, Corinne."    [Gayle Gross, 10daybookclub.com]

"I was mesmerized by the story as it revealed the gentility of the Washington DC high society in 1911-1915. Indeed, those with romantic tendencies will want to keep reading as Florence's courtship, emotions and decisions are revealed; details of the area and fashion are quite interesting. The final insight into Tom's background, motivations and deception cap off the enjoyable read. It was extremely satisfying to recognize DC area landmarks and names of relatives or family friends! --- I have handed the book to my mother." [Dee Tastet Davis]

"The best ways you can help me promote the books is to write a review on Amazon, Share on Facebook, and talk it up--word of mouth is still the best marketing practice on the planet! Several readers have also purchased copies for their local library. Thank You!" -  Corinne Taylor
